      Tom and Barbara Welp
      Tom and Barbara Welp will celebrate their 50th anniversary on Saturday.
      They were married Saturday, June 6, 1959, in St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Campbell Hill, Ill., before the groom's father, the late Rev. H.C. Welp.
      They have three children, Jodi and Bob Bosler, Stillwater; Tricia and Mike Pettiford, Garland, Texas; and Todd Welp, Clinton. They have five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
      Welp served in the U.S. Navy on the submarine U.S.S. Baya from 1955 to 1958. He worked in the printing industry for 39 years in Sparta and Effingham, Ill.; Nashville, Tenn.; and Stillwater. He retired in 1999.
      Mrs. Welp worked for Spartan Printing in Sparta, Ill., and is a homemaker.
