The death of Gerhard Kleiboeker , aged 65 years, occurred at his home
Tuesday, December 8, at 8:00pm. He was born in Province Hannover Germany, October 18, 1843 and came to America October 1, 1864, locating near Hoyleton, Il. In 1867 he was united in marriage to Margaret Schmick and to them were born seven children, four of whom are living. They are Mrs. Anna Reinkensmeyer, Henry, William, and Gustav Kleiboeker. His wife also survives him and he has one sister living, ten grandchildren and host of friends. In 1883 he came to Clinton County and located east of Hoffman, being a member of the Lutheran Church at that place until 1905. He afterwords became a member of the Lutheran Church at Ferrin and remained so until his death. The funeral took place from that church December 11, and was larger attended. Our sympathy is extended to the bereaved relatives and friends in their sad hour of sorrow."
