      William and family moved to Shelby Co KY about 1807 then on to Lawrence Co Indiana with other members of the family. Said to have arrived in Indiana in Nov of 1811 and founded the town of Leesville, named for wife Leah. They had a Mill on Guthrie Creek. There were 13 children.

      William FLYNN and Leah SPEAR were married about 1782 in Surry County, North Carolina.14 Leah SPEAR was born about 1760 in Lunenburg County, Virginia.14 She died in 1853 in Lawrence County, Indiana.
