  (Research):I found some World Connect databases which have lots of info about John Boring(Boren) and his brother James. They apparently left Madison Co., AL and went to Lawrence Co., TN then Itawamba Co., MS. They used the name Boren later, so I guess I'll change my database from Boring to Boren. John and Margaret Greenwood Boren's son, James Madison Franklin Boren, is in the 1860 Itawamba Co., MS census. It's hard to read but his wife Mary is with him and a Sarah Greenwood, age 25, born in TN....??? The plot sickens. Appears in 1804 & 1805 Wilson County, TN Tax list as John Bowen Appears on 1809 Madison County, Mississippi Territorial Census as John Bowren. 1840 Federal Census: Lawrence County, TN Borin, John Sr., age 50-60 female 50-60 (Margaret) male 15-20 1850 Federal Census: Itawamba County, MS Boren, John, age 69, farmer, born AL Boren, Margaret, age 69, born AL 1860 1870 Margaret is living with son
