She born Nov 1754 and married Brooks and sister Susannah married Jervis Hennery Stevens - father James Shackleford - Lydia and John Brooks married 7 Jan 1774 - Susanna married 9 July 1778 to Philip Sullivan - she married Jervis Henry Stevens 23 Dec 1784 - Phillip Sullivan died 15 Jan 1780 - drowned - trying to save cargo from a foundered Spanish vessel off Bull's Bay - Joseph Wicker from 1737 to 1740 or 1741 lived on plantation that James Shackleford lives on. wit John Whitehurst - Joseph Wicker gave plantation to his daughter Hezia Shackleford wife of James Shakleford - Hezia died 1769 -

In the name of God Amen, I James Shackleford, of Carteret .County, being in sound mind,but weak of body.....To my wife Keziah, all of my possessions, and my home and plantation. on the West side of North River, during her life or widowhood. To my son James, the plantation at his marriage and 600 acres of my 1/4 of the Banks wherever he may choose.. To my son Joseph my plantation formerly owed by Joseph wicker and 600 acres of my banks land and a mare. Other property including slaves to be divided between two sons. Wife Keziah executrix and son James Executor.
