Col. Thomas Lovick.
Col. Thomas Lovick came to Carteret Co., NC from London - collector of
customs at Port Beaufort, Col. in His Majesty's Army, Justice of Peace in
Carteret Co. 1739-1740 -- b. about 1690 in London; d. by 4/4/1759 -- son of
Sir Edward Lovick -- brother of John Lovick, surveyor of boundaries between
Carolina and VA, receiver of duties at Port Roanoke, secretary of the colony

more of that and would love to find more information about the colonel, his
life and times, descendants, etc. Lynn
